Secure installation
Weighing over 100kg the Sunset has been designed for permanent installation outdoors, but can be fitted with a weighted Skyspan Cube base and caster system to enable re-positioning of the umbrella. 10 year frame anti rust policy, 5 year structural warranty on the frame & 2 year canopy warranty.

An architectural grade, high tensile Serge Ferrari PVC adds strength and style to the canopy. Purposefully designed for umbrellas, the canopy is pre-tensioned to prevent stretching and tearing after continuous use. What wind strength can the Sunset umbrellas handle?
The Sunset centre-column retractable umbrella has engineered wind rating from 118km/h up to 148km/h. That’s W31 up to W41. The Sunset can be left up most of the time. If you are facing a significant weather event, then we recommend you retract them. The longevity of the canopy is best when it is left up, at the appropriate tension.
